I’m a Cotswold-based brand photographer and coach helping countryside creatives grow a joyful, fulfilling, and sustainable creative business

I’m Kate, a gatherer of wild things and a perpetual beauty seeker. I’m a lover of flora and fauna, heritage, books, and old things.

I’ve always had a heart for the past. I spent a decade as a field archaeologist, uncovering fragments of history. This is where I first discovered photography, documenting sites and artefacts with an analogue film camera. What began as a technical skill quickly became the heart of my creative business.

I went on to work as a shoot stylist for weddings and owned my own hire company before expanding into botanical-dyed goods, styling, and brand storytelling. My interest and career path have been vast, but it always comes back to the beauty of nature, history, creativity, and connection.

I live in the Gloucestershire part of the Cotswolds with my husband, daughter, and rather lively springer spaniel. You can usually find me pottering around the garden, getting lost in a good ghost story or out on a big, rambling country walk. In my spare time, I help protect our built heritage by photographing buildings at risk for the charity SAVE Britain’s Heritage.

Working with other kindred-spirited business owners lights me up. I love forging deep-rooted connections with women and helping them create the business (and life) they’ve been dreaming of.
