No new website launch would be complete without a few words on the new look and new direction my business has taken over the last 18 months. As many of you know I have been in business over a decade, beginning in the wedding industry hiring vintage glassware and styling weddings. Over the years things evolved, adding naturally dyed silk ribbons and table linens, creating an online shop and coaching other creative businesses. Each and every new path has been one I have enjoyed immensely – reaching many hundreds of other businesses, and most importantly, creating long-lasting friendships with like-minded souls along the way who have inspired me, supported me and pushed me to new heights.

Things have also not been easy (as they sadly have been for so many lately), losing my mother to cancer 18 months ago, followed swiftly by the Corona pandemic I no longer felt my business was quite where I wanted it to be, it wasn’t fulfilling me any longer. Great change often comes through momentous changes in our lives (indeed the birth of my business followed the birth of my daughter).

April 2020 was when I began to pick up my camera again, embarked on several courses (thank you The Melias, Ria Mishaal, Skillshare and Youtube!), initially just as an outlet for my turbulent thoughts and as a way to channel the creative surge I felt during those emotional times. It soon became clear though that this is where I was happiest, camera in hand, capturing the great outdoors, other talented countryside artisans and their work, and of course my garden during lockdown. And so the changes have been happening slowly, step by step, I’ve been building my coaching capabilities with new courses and 1-2-1 clients, supporting other creative women entrepreneurs, working on branding projects with Laura E Patrick, running my monthly free webinar series through my Nurture & Bloom Facebook Group, closing down my online shop to free up more time, and beginning to take on product and branding photography.

As a stylist for so many years I am used to ‘seeing’ things, and now I can create from start to finish – the idea, the imaginative steps towards a beautifully captured image that sparks that emotional connection. So, in the words of that well-known song… ‘This is me.’ Photographer. Brand Stylist. Coach.  Let’s work together…
